We had another day to enjoy the city. A little more shopping, a walk around, a ride down to the beach area in the cable car and lunch at a restaurant overlooking the beach. Totally lovely day! The cable car ride is only 2 minutes top to bottom and worth the ticket for the views of the city and the beach as you go down (and then back up, again later)

This evening we met for a group dinner back in the town with our guide Allison. Those of us already here were able to introduce ourselves and get to know each other. Everyone is lovely - no "pills" in the bunch!! (4 more joining the group tomorrow)

Tomorrow morning we have a bit more time in Taormina before hitting the road to Siracusa.
