We went to the Marine Museum today in the Trocadero area. Fascinating, lots of naval and ship-building history and beautiful models of ships. We really enjoyed taking our time and seeing the displays. Lunch afterwards in this very busy area. There are steps that lead to a view point for the Eiffel Tower, and next to those steps are remnants of the Berlin Wall on display.

Our evening was dinner at the Hoxton Hotel, and then a walk around the block to the Rex Theater. The concert was "May the 4th Be With You" .... music from the Star Wars movies with costumed characters on and off the stage. The narration was all in French (no translation available) ... but we still enjoyed it very much! I had seen something similar at Walt Disney Concert Hall last year, although that one had video clips from the movies. This one had a wonderful orchestra, and lots of people in the audience dressed up in costume.

and... when we came out of the concert, Paris Saint-Germain had just won the soccer match against Milan. The streets and the bars were pandemonium. Not easy to navigate the crowds and get a taxi back to our hotel. Everyone was having a great time all over town!
