We began with the morning in Le Pecq and a tour of Malmaison, the home of Josephine and Napoleon Bonaparte. Josephine purchased the chateau in 1799 and went about remodeling and decorating to suit their lifestyle. We the rooms of the chateau and a small part of the garden. The tour included the interesting history of their relationship and Napoleon's rise to power. Following the tour, we returned to the ship for a relaxing afternoon as the ship continued to sail back to Paris. In the evening, after dinner, we were now in Paris. We boarded a sight-seeing boat for an evening scenic tour on the Seine.
