I need bigger pants!! Our 2nd day here we chose to stay in town and visit two very interesting museums. Between museums we lunched at a Michelin restaurant, the oldest restaurant in France: La Couronne 1345. Museum #1 was Fine Arts Museum (Musee des Beaux-Arts) and the 2nd was Musee Le Secq des Tournelles (1921) (museum of Iron-works), which was housed in the old church of Saint -Laurent.
We enjoyed the fine arts sculpture and the paintings. The wrought iron works were amazing and the whole collection was collected by the painter Jean Tournelles. (late 1800's). We took a lot of photos!
Good thing we walked a lot. It helped us work off the 5-course lunch. We discovered the synagogue too late to go inside, but nice to see there is definitely a Jewish community here.
